Job Description

The main focus of this role will be on researching, applying for and executing grant/incentive applications related to alternative fueled technology and other Clean Operation technologies and programs. The role will manage the entire grant/incentive process and work with operations and other DHL colleagues to ensure compliance of grants/incentives. This individual will manage incentive vendors and assist sites and functional teams with implementing green initiatives.

This individual will also be responsible for keeping up to date on federal, state and local policies related to Clean Operations such as the Renewable Natural Gas voluntary market and renewable electricity market.

In addition to the main focus, this role will support all other activities of the DSC GoGreen agenda in North America.

Responsibilities

• Researches applicable grants/incentives related to Clean Operations throughout North America
• Works with operations, functional teams and legal to properly apply for applicable grants/incentives
• Manages awarded grant/incentive execution to ensure DHL maintains compliance
• Manages incentive vendor relationships and serves as main point of contact to ensure compliance
• Researches and stays up to date on federal, state and local policies through industry groups. Ensures internal team is aware of all changes and advancements.
• Participates in and supports initiatives to advance DSC North America Clean Operations agenda.
• Provides analytical support and analysis when needed.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, required
• 2+ years’ experience in project management, required
• Experience in incentive/grant writing or environmental policy, preferred
• Personal interest in Environmental Sustainability, required
