\nRN - IMC
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Med/Surg Tele/IMC position in the Float Pool
\n• Float between Med/Surg units and IMC units
\n• Handle patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
\n• Weekend coverage required with 12 weekend shifts per contract
\n• Self-scheduling system
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• 2+ years of Telemetry experience required
\n• 2+ years of IMC unit experience in hospital setting required
\n• Recent Epic EMR experience required
\n• Travel experience required
\n• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
\n• Flu shot and 2-step PPD required with no exceptions
\n• Care for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma patients
\n• Manage cardiac drips, insulin drips, blood transfusions, TPN, feeding tubes, and post cardiac catheterization care
\n• Work with specialized equipment including chest tubes, PICC lines, ventilators, and various drains
\n• Complete non-billable modules during orientation and annually through Relias/Net Learning portal
