Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Skills required: Cardiac interpretation, Cardizem and Heparin gtts, CIWA, Amiodarone and nitro drips (preferred), chest tubes Patient Types: DKA (no insulin gtts), Sepsis, COPD. PNA, continual Bipap, General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Stroke, CIWA, ortho: currently only doing shoulder surgeries; NO dialysis or active MI Consider first-time traveler: No Floating: ED Holding (PCU or below acuity) or Auburn Patient Ratios: 1:5 based on acuity Charting/Equipment: EPIC, BD Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis for dispensing medicationsAt PHP, you are always the first focus!
