Job Description & RequirementsIDR is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Sr Telecom/Network Specialist to join one of our top healthcare clients in La Cross, WI . This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about networking, cybersecurity, and cutting-edge enterprise infrastructure. This hybrid position offers remote flexibility after the first 3 months. Equipment will be provided. 6 month contract, potential to extend.

\n\n\n Position Overview / Responsibilities: \n\nAs a Sr Telecom/Network Specialist , you will:
\n\nDesign, operate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across routing, switching, and wireless disciplines
\n\t\n\tSupport and manage network security tools including NAC, TrustSec, ISE, VPNs, DNS security, and secure web services
\n\t\n\tProvide advanced troubleshooting and assist with security incident response in collaboration with the Help Desk, ITOC, and SOC
\n\t\n\tUtilize and maintain software-defined networking (SDN) technologies such as SASE, firewalls, WAN/LAN, and cloud networking tools
\n\t\n\tLeverage automation and scripting tools like Splunk, Ansible, Python, and .Net
\n\t\n\tParticipate in or lead Agile or Waterfall project-based implementations and upgrades
\n\t\nProficiency in routing, switching, wireless , and network security
\n\t\n\tHands-on experience with tools such as Cisco TrustSec, ISE, VPN solutions, and secure DNS/web services
\n\t\n\tFamiliarity with SDN solutions , cloud networking, and hybrid network environments
\n\t\n\tScripting experience with Python, Ansible, .Net , and logging/monitoring via Splunk
\n\t\n\tUnderstanding of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
\n\t\n\tStrong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
\n\t\nCisco certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA )
\n\t\n\tExperience in large-scale healthcare or enterprise IT environments
\n\t\nCompetitive compensation: $55–59/hr W2
