Required Skills - Minimum 12 months of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in urgent or acute care settings
- Board certification (PANCE/NP Boards) and active PA license or NP certification
- Proficiency in utilizing Epic EMR system for patient documentation
- Ability to independently see and treat all patients, including pediatric (6 months and up) and adult populations
- Demonstrated soft skills for effective communication and collaboration with support staff
- BLS certification
- Capable of performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation, among others
Nice to Have Skills - Experience with minor procedures in an urgent care environment
- Prior exposure to high patient volume settings (up to 40 patients per day)
- Familiarity with additional EMR systems beyond Epic (training provided)
- Ability to manage a diverse patient cohort with confidence and professionalism
- Flexibility to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius
Preferred Education and Experience - Graduation from an accredited PA program with current certification
- Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in urgent or acute care
- Proficiency with pediatric and adult patient management
Other Requirements - Must be available to start on December 31, 2025
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision; supervision provided offsite
- Willingness to complete Epic EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift
- Availability for clinical interviews, training, and ongoing shift coverage
- Support staff includes center managers, medical assistants, physician assistants, and supervising physicians
- No travel or lodging expenses reimbursed; mileage reimbursement only
- Support multiple clinical sites within specified geographic area
