Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, Hours Vary
• Surgical Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Non-Surgical Days: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Reports To: Director of Clinical Operations
Position Overview:
Integra Vascular is seeking a clinically experienced Vascular Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Brooklyn Office-Based Laboratory (OBL). This key leadership role requires a hands-on, clinically knowledgeable professional—preferably a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or other licensed healthcare provider—who can ensure that both routine and surgical operations run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the highest standards of patient care.
This position plays a pivotal role in managing surgical procedure days, where patients are treated for Angiograms (Angios), Venograms, Prostatic Artery Embolization (PAE), Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE), and other interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with strong operational and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily OBL Operations: Direct and coordinate all operational aspects of the Brooklyn OBL, ensuring smooth workflows, clinical readiness, and overall facility efficiency.
• Surgical Day Management: Proactively manage the surgical schedule and staff to support safe and timely execution of procedures such as Angios, Venograms, PAE, GAE, and others. Ensure room turnover, sterile protocols, and patient prep/post-op processes are streamlined and compliant.
• Clinical Oversight & Emergency Response: Utilize clinical expertise to monitor patient care, support procedural teams, and respond to intra-procedural emergencies as needed.
• Staff Supervision: Lead and manage clinical and administrative staff, including scheduling, performance oversight, training, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Inventory & Equipment: Maintain inventory of surgical and medical supplies; coordinate with vendors to ensure availability and readiness of all necessary tools and equipment.
• Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure the facility meets all regulatory, licensing, and Quad A accreditation requirements. Maintain up-to-date documentation and prepare for regular inspections.
• Patient Coordination: Oversee the scheduling of patient appointments, insurance verification, transportation arrangements, and pre- and post-procedure communication to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Build and manage relationships with clinical and operational vendors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective service delivery.
• Licensing & HR Support: Ensure staff credentials are current; assist with hiring, onboarding, and compliance with HR procedures.
• Communication & Leadership: Act as the central point of contact for the facility—facilitating strong communication between clinical teams, administrative staff, and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications:
• Clinical Background Required: Active certification/licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent clinical credential.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of healthcare management or supervisory experience in a clinical or procedural setting.
• Skills:
Solid understanding of interventional procedures (e.g., Angios, Venograms, PAE, GAE)
Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Strong knowledge of clinical compliance standards and emergency protocols
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
