Job Opportunity: Helicopter Pilot

This announcement is for several Visual Flight Rules (VFR) positions, with numerous other opportunities available. By applying through this listing, you can select your preferred location for your application. Please note, this is not a Float Pilot role.

Compensation Details:

• Starting Salary Range: $87,019 - $95,720
• Geographic modifier of up to 27%, based on location
• Sign-on Bonus: $15,000
• Retention Bonus: $40,000 after three years
• On-Duty Housing available at most locations
• 7/7 Work Schedule at many locations

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to safely transport patients to and from various locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft are prepared for flight dispatches in accordance with relevant manuals, including all FAR and organizational requirements, as well as maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
• Keep precise records of MTC and regulatory documentation.
• Communicate effectively and work in partnership with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and other stakeholders.
• Provide shift change information to the incoming pilot and team, following established protocols for recording Med-Trans change board details.
• Maintain all necessary certifications and engage in ongoing training.

Minimum Qualifications (VFR Position)

• Valid Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Flight Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
