Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• The Manager is responsible for scheduling the work of all warehouse personnel during its shift ensuring that all shipments and customer orders are accurately cut, packed, shipped and timely released
• The incumbent is expected to work hands-on during the shift and will assist in making personnel decisions including recommendations for hiring, terminations, training, safety, etc
• This person will also be required to operate a forklift
• Understands and applies all policies and procedures, including Human Resources, operational, fire prevention, and safety
• Maintains production records and shift logs
• Processes payroll in a timely and efficient manner
• Issues attendance warning letters and notifies HR when employees reach maximum attendance points
• Leads and participates in safety and production meetings

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a warehouse manager - 2 years minimum
• Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Has to have experience with SAP Products / Warehouse / Logistics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word)
• Bachelor's Degree required
