Key Responsibilities

• Develop vision and direction for worship services.
• Plan and execute Sunday morning and evening worship services, paying careful attention to both the online and in-person experience.
• Team building, spiritual care, & discipleship.
• Improve and enhance our online presence through curation of worship music and playlists.
• Oversee the purchase and maintenance of all needed audio gear and instruments.
• Staff leadership & administration.

• Forward thinking and innovative.

Experience:

• At least 5 years comparable experience leading a large worship arts program.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a congregation in vibrant, engaged, joyful worship.
• Experience with sound recording and production.
• Experience with office software (Google Docs and Sheets, Slack, Planning Center) or similar software.
• Instrumental and vocal competency that inspires confidence in other skilled musicians.

Leadership:

• Emotional intelligence and self-awareness that sustains influence with others.
• A team-building and collaborative style of leadership and decision-making.
• Platform communication that compels engagement and facilitates participation.
• An ability to integrate multiple styles of music and art to serve the larger mission and purpose of corporate worship at Redeemer East Side.
• An ability to manage and coordinate people and projects.
• A leader of leaders who can develop and coach others in worship leadership.

Education:

• A degree in music is preferred.
• A broad appreciation of music and art as well as cultural traditions and trends.
