Armed Security Officer - weekends

Cardinal Point Security Group is building a team of Security Officers who will keep our clients safe from violence.

Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on location

Location: Various locations in Montgomery County, PA (Main Line, Fort Washington)

Schedule:

Flexible schedules are available from:

Fridays from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and/or 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Sundays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and/or 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be a Cardinal Point Ambassador: Be on time. Look sharp in proper uniform. Be engaged. Be consistent
• Incident Management and de-escalation
• Walks up to 10,000 steps per day to patrol school facilities and grounds to prevent access to restricted areas, theft, or vandalism
• Stands for up to four hours per shift
• Act as First responder for emergencies
• Stands post at secondary locations as required
• Identify and report suspicious activity
• Cultivate positive relationships with staff and visitors
• Access Control
• Monitor CCTV

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior Law Enforcement experience is required
• Five years of experience as an armed security officer
• Must possess a valid PA Act 235 Certification
• Must possess a valid PA Concealed Carry Permit
• Must possess your own firearm.
• Must be able to pass firearms qualification course.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Consent to a drug screen and completing criminal background investigation.
• No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
• Reliable means of communication (active cell phone with mobile email access)
• Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written)
• Reliable means of transportation
• Must possess a professional and courteous demeanor.
