Job Description

Salary: $144,200 - 265,600 per year Requirements:

  • We seek candidates with over 6 years of experience in technical consulting, solving client issues, and architecting and designing solutions in a consulting capacity, preferably with project leadership and/or architect experience in Azure, focusing on security.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience with technologies such as Azure Policy, Terraform, or other JSON constructs.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on technical experience in designing and implementing security solutions for leading Cloud service providers across various service models (Public, Private, Hybrid).
  • Experience of 2 years designing cloud security architectures and strategies for enterprises is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience in Virtualization, including security for Compute, Network, Storage, End-point, or Application.
  • A minimum of 2 years working with Cloud security industry standards like Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), ISO/IEC 27017, and NIST CSF.
  • Experience with Cloud security technologies/vendors (e.g., IAM, SIEM, IDS) and providers (e.g., Okta, CipherCloud, AlertLogic) would be a plus.
  • Candidates should also have 2 years of experience with Cloud orchestration and automation (CI/CD) in single and multi-tenant environments.
  • Strong experience (3+ years) with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies and planning for large-scale deployments of these technologies is required.
  • Familiarity with designing IAM technologies and services is necessary, along with knowledge of managing enterprise security infrastructure and perimeter security appliances (e.g., firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, web application firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, and log management).
  • Experience with Azure data, analytics, or AI/ML services is desirable.
  • An understanding of industry security standards, guidelines, and regulatory/compliance requirements related to information security and cloud computing is essential.
Responsibilities:
  • I will lead the overall delivery of Azure Cloud Cyber Risk projects in a project manager or architect role, overseeing both onsite and offshore engineers and architects across eight major Azure cyber domains.
  • I will assist in business development activities, including defining the scope of services, creating resource estimates and pricing, packaging proposals, and supporting delivery to clients for Azure and Entra ID Cloud Cyber Risk services.
  • I will serve as the primary day-to-day interface with clients, building strong rapport and trust.
  • As an expert in CNAPP, CWPP, and CSPM technologies, I will review and supervise the creation of all project deliverables, including assessment reports and security recommendations.
  • I will maintain extensive domain knowledge of Azure and Microsoft cloud solutions and assist clients with security frameworks and resolving Azure vulnerabilities.
  • Leading the execution of Azure Cloud security engagements, I will conduct health checks for Azure platforms before larger deployments and oversee technical support for Azure cyber services.
  • Conducting cloud security analyses, recommendations, and configurations of clients’ Microsoft Azure environments will be part of my duties, along with supporting proof of concept and production deployments.
  • I will assist clients in transitioning to Microsoft Azure cloud services and deploying third-party technologies to enhance security, while also assisting with compliance reports and internal security training.

A BA/BS degree is preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, or Information Technology. Previous consulting or Big 4 experience is advantageous, along with relevant Microsoft Certifications. The wage range for this role is estimated between $144,200 and $265,600, based on various factors including skill sets, experience, and organizational needs. Candidates may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, dependent on individual and organizational performance.
