Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-caliber candidates and clients, including top-tier law firms and corporate legal departments
  • Recruit top legal talent and manage the full placement lifecycle —from sourcing to offer acceptance
  • Prospect, onboard, and manage new client partnerships , delivering excellent service throughout each search
  • Screen and interview candidates via phone, video, and in-person meetings
  • Leverage Coda’s top-tier tech stack, internal ATS, and social media platforms to identify and engage qualified candidates
  • Stay current on legal industry hiring trends by attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Contribute to the growth of Coda’s legal division by offering strategic ideas, improving processes, and helping to shape the team’s future direction

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 3+ years of full-desk, permanent placement Legal recruiting experience (agency side)
  • Demonstrated success placing legal professionals in law firms and corporate legal departments
  • Strong track record in business development and client relationship management
  • Experience in bringing in new legal searches and growing a book of business
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
