IT Service Desk Agent – Contract Opportunity | Possible Permanent position up to performance!

📅 Duration: 12-month contract
💲 Pay: $21–$23/hour
Are you experienced in technical support and passionate about helping others? We’re seeking an IT Service Desk Agent with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience to join a leading enterprise IT team. If you’re customer-focused, adaptable, and have a knack for solving complex technical issues, we want to hear from you!
Ideal Candidate:
✔ 2–5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
✔ Strong customer service and communication skills
✔ Experience in technical support roles highly preferred
✔ High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications or training a plus
✔ Comfortable working variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
What You’ll Do:
• Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues via phone, online chat, and in-person support
• Diagnose, triage, and resolve hardware/software issues in a high-demand, 24/7 environment
• Track and document all interactions in a ticketing system with accuracy and detail
• Use knowledge base tools to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently
• Provide professional, empathetic customer support and build trust with end users
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve service processes
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless end-user experience
