Job Title : Investor Relations & Reporting Associate

Location : West Palm Beach, FL (HQ)

The Role:

We are seeking an Investor/LP Relations & Reporting Associate who has deep experience with investor communications, fund reporting, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate has worked at a private markets investment firm, fund administrator, or professional services firm (accounting / audit preferred) and has directly managed LP relationships, quarterly reporting cycles, investor communications, and the full spectrum of limited partner servicing activities.

What You’ll Do:

Fundraising Support

  • Manage and respond to all prospective investor due diligence requests during fundraising cycles
  • Prepare and maintain data room materials including portfolio performance data, track records, and case studies
  • Create benchmark comparisons and competitive positioning analyses for fundraising materials
  • Develop custom analyses and reports to address specific prospective LP inquiries
  • Support virtual and in-person due diligence meetings with comprehensive supporting materials

Investor Relations & Communications

  • Own the creation and distribution of comprehensive quarterly LP letters, ensuring clear communication of fund performance, portfolio developments, and market commentary
  • Proactively address LP questions and concerns with timely, thorough responses
  • Produce regular market updates and portfolio breakdowns to keep investors informed between formal reporting periods
  • Manage all ad-hoc LP data requests and information needs
  • Ensure all investor communications maintain consistent messaging and professional quality

Core Fund Operations & Reporting

  • Lead quarterly and annual LP reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all investor communications
  • Oversee capital account maintenance and LP statement preparation
  • Process capital calls and coordinate investor funding activities with clear, detailed notices
  • Calculate and distribute proceeds from investment exits with accompanying investor communications
  • Manage investor portal and CRM systems, ensuring LPs have access to up-to-date information

Compliance & Audit Management

  • Lead coordination of fund and SPV audits with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with Limited Partnership Agreement terms and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare K-1 packages and coordinate tax reporting distribution
  • Manage regulatory filings including Form ADV updates and Blue Sky compliance
  • Oversee adherence to ILPA reporting guidelines and industry best practices

Portfolio Operations & Analysis

  • Synthesize portfolio company performance data into compelling investor narratives
  • Create detailed portfolio breakdowns by sector, geography, vintage, and other relevant metrics
  • Maintain investment valuations and performance metrics (IRR, MOIC, DPI, RVPI)
  • Develop benchmark comparisons against relevant indices and peer funds
  • Support investment team with closing documentation and fund deployment tracking

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and optimize processes for responding to investor requests efficiently
  • Create templates and materials for common investor inquiries
  • Coordinate with fund administrators, legal counsel, and other service providers
  • Uphold best practices for investor communications and stakeholder management
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting quality and response times

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-7 years in private markets investor relations, fund administration, fund accounting at a PE/VC firm, fund administrator, fund services or Big 4 accounting / audit practice
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with investor reporting systems and data rooms
  • Proven track record of managing investor requests and due diligence processes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to craft compelling investor communications and quarterly letters
  • Experience translating complex portfolio data into clear, digestible formats for audiences
  • Deep understanding of private markets fund structures, valuations, waterfall calculations, and accounting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of institutional LP expectations, due diligence requirements, and ongoing reporting needs
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA or progress toward certification preferred
  • Client service mindset with ability to anticipate and proactively address investor needs
