POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Medical Billing Revenue Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate billing, payment processing, and account resolution for patient accounts. This individual supports timely reimbursement and performs a wide range of revenue cycle duties that contribute to a positive patient financial experience. The position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment dedicated to ethical practices, service quality, and continuous improvement. This is a full-time, onsite role in San Antonio, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform billing, follow-up, cash reconciliation, and account resolution tasks using established systems and processes
• Respond to account inquiries from patients, providers, or third-party payers via phone, email, or internal systems
• Monitor and work payer rejections, underpayments, and denied claims to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain accurate documentation in all patient account systems according to compliance standards
• Research and resolve payment posting errors, including unapplied cash and corrections
• Communicate trends and operational insights to leadership to support process improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience working with Collections, Cash Reconciliation, multi-facility hospital business office environment, inpatient / outpatient billing requirements of UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms.
• Experience with medical billing, revenue cycle, or healthcare financial services
• Familiarity with UB-04 and HCFA 1500 forms, coding, or insurance billing processes
• Knowledge of electronic claims submission and common claim denial scenarios
• Comfortable using revenue cycle and patient accounting systems
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $18/hour.
