1) 2-4 years hands on experience CONFIGURING routers/switches (Switch work is primarily layer 2 with minor layer 3) - Must be able to configure a switch out of the box 2) Troubleshooting network connectivity issues: Candidates must be able to troubleshoot complex issues that may arise related to network infrastructure 3) Candidate must have experience with one of the following four OEM (route/switch): Cisco (9300 switches is what they are using but 3850 is all that's required), Brocade (Extreme/Ruckus), Juniper, and Aruba (Hewlett Packard). **Active DoD Secret Clearance Required (Cannot hold a TS) IAT II Requirements: Must have Sec+ or higher
Candidates are able to work remote from the following locations (listed in order of customer preference) while not traveling, but please keep in mind this is a travel intensive position 75% - 80%:
