Network Support Analysts - Enterprise Network Operations have the knowledge and expertise to support the countywide Area Networks and Local Area Networks for the Innovation and Technology Department. This position assumes a countywide role for knowledge in routing, switching, carrier networks, and performing best practices in meeting specific network design goals. The position is responsible for configuring, installing, and supporting enterprise class networking hardware, software, and other networking resources, troubleshooting performance and security issues, while using the latest networking diagnostics tools.

Required Experience: Two (2) years of work experience, within the last five (5) years, working with or troubleshooting enterprise class networks, which includes experience with configuring switches and/or routers.
Must include experience in at least two of the following system technologies:

Required Education: Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed, post high-school coursework from an accredited university or technical school in computer science, or a closely related field. A list of coursework must be submitted with the application.
Education Substitution: One (1) additional year of qualifying work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
